A great friend and one of the best coaches in the world is fighting a battle against terminal melanoma. Fluid would like to help raise money for him and his family. For every National jump record, regardless of nationality or age division, broken at one of our tournaments we will donate the entry to his trust fund. Although we hope the records fall, we also hope that maybe other clubs or sites that have been positively impacted by Ray's involvement might join us in helping support a true icon in this sport.

The first ever Rocketman Night Jump was held this past weekend at Fluid with the "Spanish Bull" Guillermo Moreno de Carlos taking the title with 213ft. Check out the pics, the results and the bikini contest . . .

Two National jump records fall at Fluid this past weekend . . . Scot Ellis going 215 for the Masters Men and Mario Mustafa upping his Peru record to 165. Alexei Zharnasek almost took down the World Trick Record with 12320. Photos, results and hopefully video of over 12,000 soon. . .click on more.

Not the best weather this past weekend for the event but still a new B2 Jump Record for Taylor Garcia at 134ft and the Nightmare flys 239ft over the top of the AWSEF Hall of Fame!

Arguably the biggest tournament for water-skiers worldwide began today in Dubna, Russia. Best of luck to all competitors representing their countries.

World renown coach and our close friend, Ray Stokes, passed away December 3rd after a long courageous battle against cancer. Ray is survived by his two sons, John and Fred, and lives on in our hearts, his contributions to the sport and in his innovative ski products at www.stokesskis.com . . . he will be sorely missed.

Currently sitting in 3rd on the Professional ranking list, Scot "the Rocketman" Ellis is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career.

The best Juniors and Under 21 skiers in the country will be competing at Lake Grew to make their respective National teams. On February 10th 2010, Fluid co-founder Kyle Eade "Kiwi" broke his neck during training in New Zealand. Although he has been back coaching at Fluid for awhile, he is still working relentlessly to gain more recovery and has just finished two intensive weeks at Project Walk in California.
